Malpelo
Malpelo was a sustainable startup that produced handmade hairbands and turbans in Cologne. Malpelo is the solution to #badhair days and also a play on words. In Spanish, it means 'bad hair', but it is also the name of an island off the Colombian Pacific coast. We draw on the wealth of materials and colors from our Afro-Colombian heritage. Customers bought products from the website, through SoMe channels and found us in different designers markets in the area of Cologne, Germany. Entrepreneurial Project 2019 - 2023
